Its Peter Pan's 10th birthday on August 9th - International Womens' Day. I like that....Anyway Wow a decade! And what an adventure its been!!!! He is the very very BEST thing that ever happened to me. I just adore my son!! So other than socks, which he needs, and a dagger (big utility knife which he asked for) I am giving him two presents that I want you all to know about cuz I think they are soooooooo cool.

One is an 8 week workshop held by our friend Carol Surya on Emotional Intelligence. She calls it Magical Me and when I first thought about it, I dismissed sending him because he is already so amazing and emotionally intelligent and thinks he is magical anyway, although he can't figure how to shape shift yet which bugs him to no end...But then I thought heck - he has been living with me for the past 10 years so maybe there are nooks and crannies of dysfunction that he can start working on now.....hehehe

The second present is a vow. I vow to help him create a Fairy God and Goddess Tribe over the next 7 years. People of grace and wisdom and love that will support him as he grows from where he is now into adulthood. Recruiting is currently in process, I have major activities planned, and if we can pull this off, I will be able rest in peace knowing he has a strong foundation for the rest of his life.

I will keep you all posted as to events and progress as time marches on.
