Happy new year to everyone🥳😁❤️🙏🏼🔥, I know I'm late, but I'm still here in the background 😅

So, in today's post I smoked my VW Jetta 3's taillights. I always wanted the smoked taillights. Unfortunately, it's a bit expensive and sometimes difficult to come by😅. So, I tried to do so myself and it came out amazingly😁. I smoked the yellow/orange section (2 coats of the Rust-Oleum Lens tint) and put a semi gloss UV resistant clearcoat on the red (Rust-Oleum spray paint touch 2x ultra cover semi-gloss clear... What a long name 🤣).

Basically, the post is a before, prepped, after (only smoked), prep & after for clear and then the final after 😅

There are a lot of methods & colours to do so. Just stay within the legal limits, then you'll be fine 👀😄😅. Best is do your research, practice and apply.

PS: Tomorrow, I'll post a few pictures of how the taillights looked with one coat of tint. It was way better and unique (slightly tinted effect) look in my opinion then how it came out. Unfortunately, I already gave the second coat and probably won't have enough tint if I did decide to redo the smoked section again. Luckily, can just buy but for now I'll keep it like this 😅.
