Knowing when and how you’ll receive progress updates can make the repair process easier to navigate.

Excellent workmanship matters, but so does the way a customer is treated throughout the repair process.

A recent customer, sent us a wonderful message thanking Julius for the excellent work he completed on her vehicle. She particularly appreciated the care and effort he put into getting it looking its best again.

She also thanked our reception team for their friendliness, patience and professionalism, saying they made her feel welcome and reassured from the beginning.

Thank you, for trusting De Jonghs and taking the time to acknowledge the people behind the work. We’ll make sure Julius and the reception team receive your message. 🤝

Once you know what to look for, it’s difficult not to see it. 👀

A panel gap that’s slightly uneven. A colour match that looks right until the light changes. A bumper sitting just a little out.

They may seem like small details, but in a panel shop, small details matter.

A factory paint code is the starting point, not the final check.

The vehicle’s existing finish, age, surrounding panels and even the way the colour behaves in different light can influence the final match. It’s why colour is assessed as part of the repair process rather than simply chosen from a code.

When it’s right, you shouldn’t notice the repair at all.

That’s The Last 1%.

Heritage lives in more than the places we come from. It lives in what we learn, what we teach and what we pass on.

In our industry, generations of practical skill, craftsmanship and pride in a job done properly continue to shape the people entering the trade today.

Please note our trading hours for the Heritage Day week:
Thursday, 24 September: OPEN
Friday, 25 September: CLOSED

Happy Heritage Day. 🇿🇦

Sometimes the most meaningful feedback isn’t about everything going perfectly. It’s about how people are treated when something needs another look.

Good service shouldn’t stop when the keys are handed back.

We are grateful to our team, the customers who choose De Jongh's and the partners we work with along the way who help us get cars safely back on the road.

We can see those weekend plans starting to take shape. 👀

Longer days, a little more sunshine and a few more reasons to get out on the road. Spring is a good excuse to take the car somewhere other than the daily commute.

Where’s your first spring drive taking you?

Some things should just come standard when you’re trusting someone with your car.

Clear communication, knowing what’s happening along the way, and a repair that isn’t rushed out the door.

They’re little things, but they can make a big difference to the whole experience.

What makes the difference for you? ✍🏾⬇️

There’s a whole team behind every vehicle that leaves our workshop.

The women of De Jongh’s play their part at every stage, bringing skill, energy, care and professionalism to the work they do and the customers they look after.

Some are front and centre. Others work behind the scenes. Every one of them contributes to the De Jongh’s experience we’re proud to deliver.

Happy Women’s Day to our ladies, and to the women in our wider De Jongh’s community.

The smallest details often make the biggest difference to the final finish.

That’s why we look closely, check carefully and take pride in the work you may never even notice.
