Most people have seen a blue tick online and understand what it represents: verification.

In the motor body repair industry, manufacturer approvals serve a similar purpose.

To earn approval, workshops must meet specific requirements set by vehicle manufacturers. These can include technician training, equipment, repair procedures and quality standards.

For vehicle owners, it's one more way to understand the standards a motor body repairer is expected to meet when repairing their vehicle.
