Hi there 👋

I am Dané from Dinaco, nice to meet you! 😊

🇿🇦 I’m a South African, Afrikaans-speaking [which you’ll definitely hear when I speak English 😉], Christian business owner who never went the traditional route.

The day after I wrote my final matric exam, I stepped straight into the real world.

I started working at a local signage company, where I learned how to create artwork that’s not just pretty, but practical, print-ready, and purposeful.

2019
While working full-time, I started an online Graphic Design Fundamentals course at Inscape.

2020
The famous Covid lockdown hit, I finished my course and oh also, that was the start of Dinaco ✨

2021
This was the year of short courses! I did quite a few, including the Web Development course by Mimo.

2022
I love design but decided to broaden my horizons a bit and started studying Software Engineering [still busy with that, by the way].

2023
I did some freelance UI/UX design work for a company in Australia that worked with companies worldwide.

2024
Still juggling full-time work and part-time studies. But... at the end of the year, I finally took the leap and resigned from my 9-5 job and focus full-time on Dinaco and my studies.

2025
Now I get to do what I love every day 🤙

*I honestly can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds.

Oh, and if we’re being real - I also love pizza, milkshakes, and Typo stationery way too much.
