There is is...Christmas and New year has been and gone for another year. Hope all our clients and suppliers had a blessed Christmas and wish each and everyone of you a very fruitful and prosperous 2023.
Gem Auto Service Centre is open for business - as we are not back to full staff capacity - our hours may vary till end of week. Some suppliers are also not open yet - Engineering works are closed till next week. We are able to do all servicing and maintenance - NO major engine repairs. For those still on vacation - please travel safely when you return home

And there we are...December is upon us...Silly season has begun. For those fortunate enough to be going away on holiday this year....Please remember that to check all safety aspects on your vehicles. Gem Auto will not be closing this December but will be working on Skeleton Staff from 15th December till 9th January 2023. If you need your vehicle serviced / brakes changed / repair any electrical niggles (tow bar plugs..lights..etc) Please make sure you get your vehicle in on time. We are open from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

And we have another "make-shift" long weekend approaching with Tuesday being a holiday. For those grabbing the opportunity to take a break..make sure the vehicle you travelling in is road worthy, service done, check oil / water / wiper blades/Lights. Makes sure brakes are good and battery charging and strong . Check tyre wear and pressures.

With the cold snap approaching this week-end...Make sure you have anti-freeze in your radiators and that your battery is charging properly. Nothing worse than having to push a car with dead battery in freezing temperatures. Take you battery to be checked. Also good idea to check heaters and de-mister. We have a full time auto electrician on site for any electrical faults or queries. With the cold, predicted rain also on its way...check wipers. Lucas is a fully qualified technician and has worked in the industry at large dealerships and as Service advisor for Ford and Mazda but works on all makes of vehicle. Gem Auto Service Centre would like to wish all their valued clients a remarkable Festive season and hope to see you all in 2022 - Please stay safe and for those travelling - take it easy - slow and smooth on the roads - your destination will be there whether you drive slowly or fast. Gem Auto will be closed on Friday 17th December but will be open from 20th - 23rd December on skeleton staff We will only be taking on minor repairs and services. We are unable to do Engine repairs as all engineering works are closed. We will re-open on the 5th January 2022.
