I am incredibly honoured and grateful to have been appointed as the head of the Circuit Motorcycle Working Group at Motorsport South Africa. 🇿🇦🏍️

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages of support, encouragement, and congratulations over the past few days. The support has honestly meant so much to me. 💛

Motorcycle racing has been such a huge part of my life, and to now have the opportunity to help grow, support, and contribute to the future of the sport is something I’m truly passionate about.

A special thank you to Motorsport South Africa for the opportunity and trust placed in me. I’m looking forward to working alongside some incredible people to continue building and improving motorcycle racing in South Africa.

Excited for what lies ahead. 🙌🏁

The Blanket Run 2026

Bikeshop Rivonia & RAD

Join us for a fun, social ride on the last day of autumn.

The Blanket Ride 2026 kicks off from Bikeshop Rivonia and RAD, covering approximately 140 km of some of Gauteng’s best riding roads, ending at Maggie’s Farm — the Home of the Chicken Pie — near Lanseria.

Riders will depart at 08:30, heading up Witkoppen, along Cedar Road through Fourways, onto the Cradle Road towards Sterkfontein Caves. A break will take place in Magalies before continuing past Bekker Skool, through Hekpoort Pass, onto Satellite Road to Broederstroom, and finishing via the R512 past Lion Park at Maggie’s Farm.

This ride is open to all riders, all bikes, and all experience levels. Marshals will be present to guide the route, so everyone can ride comfortably at their own pace.

Entry is simple — bring a blanket.
As the cold sets in, these blankets will go to those who need them most.
