Iceberg - Izod impact test ASTM 256.

Unbreakable.

A measurement is only registered when a double notched test is done.

Cack propergation is the most likely failure mode in Ceramic plates. This is a very very low probability when using the Iceberg.

Definitely a winner.

The Iceberg is more chemically and corrosion resistive than any Alumina plate.

It is inert to fluoride attack.

2 K1 (high purity Alumina Ceramic) + 1 Iceberg = 10.2 kg
1 K1 (high purity Alumina Ceramic) + 2 Iceberg = 5.44kg
3 Iceberg plates (30mm) = 1.6kg.

At about 500g. The Iceberg is the easiest installation your techies will ever do whether doing a full replacement of 120/180 or partial replacements.

Liam picking up our new 30mm UHMW-PE CAP. A traditional 30mm plate weighs about 7.5kg. This plate the equivalent of the bottle of NON ALCOHOLIC Sparkling wine also held by Liam. This plate should ease the work load on maintenance staff during plate changes.

We have voluntarily elected to withdraw our last video trailer entitled "Keramiek Filters ' Iceberg Ceramic Vacuum Disc Filter Plate - What is it made of if not Ceramics" as it contains scenes which may affect sensitive viewers. We will reproduce it in time, removing the humans from the scene in favour of showing the high Impact Resistance on a shooting range with ONLY our plate in the scene i.e. no humans behind the plate. Or maybe we will get Chuck Norris to kick or punch a normal Alumina plate (our 99,5% Alumina, J&K range plates) and the UHMWPE Iceberg to show how Impact Resistant this plate really is. If he can't break either then I will mar get my father in law to video an impact resistant test at his Materials Lab.
