Spiritual Maturity train your senses.
Hebrews 5:14 NIV
[14] But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Solid food is for the mature, for those who have that power of discernment trained by constant PRACTICE. to distinguish good from evil.
Notice the phrase "CONSTANT PRACTICE"
"Discernment is not a gift you recieved once; it is a skill you exercise daily"
How do we practice?
- Measuring your choices.
- Measuring your thoughts.
- Measuring your influences.
What do your measure against, is what is vital for maturity.
AGAINST SCRIPTURE......
QUESTIONS TO ASK?
- Does this move me towards holiness or away from it?
- Does this magnify Christ Jesus, or my ego?
- Does this carry the fruits of the spirit, or the spirit of the age?
Before God restore us, He prepares us. And without spiritual maturity we cant handle what God restores, hence why constant practice of discernment makes life choices so much easier when it is aligned with God's plan and not our own.
Man have many plans, but it leads to death.
Man have many plans but only the Lord direct our steps.
The steps of a good man is ordered by the Lord.
2026 will be a year where God wants to restore the body of Christ and 2024/2025 was preparation years for me personally and so I'm eager and excited for what God is going to do in my life. What is your expectation for next year. Are you making changes so you can exit 2025 with a expectation and enter into 2026 staying close to Jesus, practice all that the word instruct you, following His plan for your life and becoming spiritually mature to fulfill His plans for your life.
I'm not sure about you but there is no better time than right now before 2026 is here.
Prayer: Lord before the clock strikes 12 midnight on the 31st of December, i want to thank You for yet another year of preparation and gratefully for so many.things in my life, yes even the blockages, stoppages, delays, pain, hurt and even the disappointments. I choose to this day lay my plans bare before You. If those plans don't fit into Your plans for my life, then I draw near to You. Lord make clear Your plans for my life and direct every step I take and come and make plain to me what confuses me. Lord make plain Your voice so I may follow You as John 10:4-5 says. Give me strength in areas not yet surrendered and let me not be decieved by so many different voices when only YOUR VOICE matters. I let go of all pain, hurt and disappointments and mistakes and choose to hear You. Lord enlighten my heart and heighten my senses to discern what is from You and what is not. Lord let Your word be my standard and the character of Christ be my guid, guiding my footsteps in this new season and for the year 2026. Let me imitate Jesus in my walk with You, in speech, in action and in conduct. Let Your word be a lamp unto my feet and a .light unto my path in 2026. In Jesus name, Amen.
