🚗 Going automatic because it's "easier"?

Read this before you book.

Pass your test on an automatic and your licence gets stamped with restriction code 03 — automatic only. For life. The day you need to drive a manual (a work bakkie, a rental, a friend's car in an emergency) you legally can't. ❌

It gets worse if you want to earn from driving. Courier, delivery, e-hailing (Uber/Bolt), security and fleet jobs almost all demand an unrestricted licence. Code 03 takes you out of the running before the interview. 🚫

Pass on a manual and there's no limit — you drive both manual AND automatic, and you qualify for the jobs. The only way to remove Code 03 later is to pay and sit the whole test again. Why pay twice?

Yes, manual feels harder for the first week. Then it's a skill you own forever. ✅
