Please follow the health and safety regulations as per Government Regulations.

You will not be allowed into the shop without a face mask and gloves and ensure you have your traveling and work permits handy. No permits-no assistance!

How do i handle brake failure when driving?

Brakes not slowing down the vehicle when breaking?
No need to PANIC.......here is step by step advice on what to do when brake failure occur.

*NB:First off all you need to know that it will feel as if the car is accelerating at an alarming rate....don't PANIC!

Should you drive a manual car, downshift to a lower gear. In the case were you drive an automatic car, the gears will lower as you decelerate.

*Observe possible escape routes and turn off's...

*If you have regular brakes, pump the brake pedal fast and hard to build up hydraulic brake fluid pressure. Hey, we talked about that earlier....don't PANIC.!

Note - Even if you have a leak in the system there will be at least a little bit of braking left, even if its only slightly on one wheel. Stay CALM.

*If you have anti lock (ABS) brakes, push the brake all the way down and hold the pedal down.

**Use your secret weapon: the emergency brake. Gradually apply the parking brake and be prepared in case your car start to skid.

Should your vehicle be equipped with a electronic parking brake BOB's you uncle.
The vehicle will come to a standstill in the shortest safest distance possible. (No locking up of the wheels or skidding will occur.)

*If all else fails, steer into a safe direction ( away from other cars) until your car rolls to a complete stop.

In high risk situations it might be necessary for you have to create friction between your car and the guardrail to slow down.
