Terrouges Equestre was founded in 1988 when Maureen Beyers started a humble equestrian centre on the outskirts of Pretoria in order to fulfill her passion for horses which now boasts one of the best Equestrian facilities around. All buildings and arenas are according to FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) standards and we pride ourselves in “doing it correctly, from the very beginning”. Terro

uges Equestre offers horse riding lessons in a number of disciplines, including dressage, show jumping and carriage driving. We occasionally invite outside instructors, be it from overseas to across provincial borders and present training and Graded shows, as well as seminars and clinics. Competitive as well as non-competitive riders and carriage-drivers welcome!

What an incredible turnout for our Ride & Go Show on Saturday! 🐴✨

A huge congratulations to all our riders who participated and gave it their very best. From the first round to the final ride, it was wonderful to see such enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and dedication on display.

Finding the right coach is one of the most important decisions you can make in your riding journey.

In our latest interview with Jessie Beyers-van Eck, she shares why the right instructor should not only teach technique, but also build confidence, create safety, and guide both horse and rider with experience, patience, and proper knowledge.

A good coach helps you grow. A qualified coach helps you grow correctly.

Always do your background checks before appointing an instructor, and make sure they are properly qualified, experienced, and aligned with your goals.

At Terrouges, we still highly recommend working with a QUALIFIED coach to ensure safe, structured, and correct development for every rider.
