South Africa’s middle class is not yet Uhuru…For the past 24 years the middle class has been enslaved by Banks .. A man buys a house worth R400 thosand and pays R5000 on the bond every month, that's R60,000 in a year, that’s R600 000 after 10 years. After ten years he paid the R400 thousand that he owes the Bank plus an interest of R200 thousand, but he still has to pay another 10 years because the term for buying a house is 20 years, which he will pay another R600 000 over the next 10 years. Making total payment of R1,2 million for a R4 hundred thousand house... Our government must establish a state-owned Bank to save the middle class from this lifetime slavery…. The middle class does not qualify to get RDP houses, and on the other hand, Banks are stealing millions of Rands from the middle class through bonds that requires them to pay a bond over a period of 20 years at exorbitant prices. For the past 24 years the government has been building and giving RDP houses for free. The government can build and sell cheap houses to the middle class over a period of 8 years. It costs less than R250 thousand Rands to build a house with a market value of R500 thousand. With a budget of R200 billion, the government can build one million houses at R250 thousand per house and sell each house at R500 thousand….The monthly installment for this houses will be R5 thousand payable over a period of eight years….The Government will make a profit of 200 billion Rands and help one million people to have financial Freedom within a period of eight years… We are dead and finished by the same government we voting for.
