Keep safe in the wet weather.

Windscreen wipers on, ensure new blades on wipers. This allows for clearer view.

Headlights on to increase visibility for other vehicles around you to easily identify you

Increase your following distance as it takes longer to stop on a wet road. This follows to say, increase your braking distance. No sudden stops.

Be safe out there.

During wet weather conditions, showers and thunderstorms, be extra cautious ensure headlights are on, reduce speed and increase the following distance.

Furthermore, you are encouraged to regularly follow weather forecast South African Weather Service

Starting procedure:
Handbrake is engaged
The gear lever is in neutral
Turn the key, make sure all warning lights are functional
Safety first-belts on, including all passengers.
Start your engine and be safe out there.

As an experienced driver, Learner Drivers may cause you some frustration. Follow the advice from ArriveAlive.co.za and Master Drive when you see the "L" for Learner Driver.

🚦Give them extra time to cross an intersection and

This allows the Learner to learn the skills necessary to be a good driver.
