It is with great sadness that I need to announce that our much cared for facility, Royal Auto Body, will be closing down at the end of February 2023. Various factors contributed to the decision, economical decline, deteriorating infrastructure, aging car park, "right to repair legislation", poor labour and paint rates, to just name a few. It became very difficult to financially manage a top end facility of our stature against the mentioned factors.
Over the past decades I have trained artisans and taught many people various skills, more than I can remember. Some of them are business owners now. The passion that I have for the industry will always be nested in my memory.
With our past approvals, we were always rated under the top 5 in the country as far as CSI is concerned. May we be remembered for outstanding quality and the good interaction that we had with our valued customers.
I remain loyal to the best product in the country, Mercedes Benz.
Most of our staff have being placed with other facilities. All our creditors will be settled as always. The equipment at the facility will be auctioned on 20 April 2023, 10h00 at the current address.
