Today let's talk about fuel tanks‼️how do I know my fuel tank needs a service... 🤔OK, you've had tthe vehicle for more than a year, if it's not a brand new vehicle who knows how long the previous owner drove without servicing the fuel tank. So here's a tip ‼️‼️you load fuel and with the price of fuel you can't fill your tank, your fuel gauge shows half but for some reason I don't seem to be getting the kilometers I should be getting. Well the funny thing about air is, it's comes into your fuel tank and sees there is space to live in🤔so it settles in nice and Cosy and because air solidifies, it starts turning emptiness into rust pockets. Over the years the rust grows and grows and becomes a layer that's now part of your fuel tank. That rust start piercing through the tank as small pin holes, so you filling more fuel but getting less kilometers. ‼️‼️Youve got you covered‼️ Come into our shop, we will drop your tank safely, degas it and do a thorough chemical clean, after that we will pressure test it for any leaks. Today let's "Taco" about radiator hoses‼️‼️
They made out of rubber so it will last me forever... ‼️‼️‼️WRONG:Radiator hoses get worn out over time,they also run the risk of rubbing against parts when the engine is running. Over time corrosion build up sets in and disrupts the flow of water/coolant. Always check you hoses when the engine is off, 9/10 times you will feel a crunchy sensation in your hoses. So I get asked this a lot, "my radiator is getting extremely hot, to the point of it smoking. I can't see any water leaks, so I just keep on topping up water"... STOP‼️‼️‼️your radiator relies on a panel of tubes attached to it's core, when majority of those tubes get blocked your radiator is forced to work at 40% power. This is dangerous, sooner or later combustion build up will damage your radiator tanks making it impossible to repair. All you need to do is service your tubes. We professionally remove your top and bottom tanks, service each tube removing any blockages. We conduct a flow test on each tube measuring the amount of water it allows through. Don't get caught thinking just filling up water every day will solve the problem.
