We are looking for a driven Commercial Truck Sales Manager to lead our sales team and help grow our market share across the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, motivate and manage a team of commercial vehicle sales executives
• Drive daily sales activity, prospecting, customer visits and pipeline management
• Ensure salespeople achieve their activity, volume and profitability targets
• Coach and support the team through the sales process and assist in closing key deals
• Develop and maintain relationships with fleet owners, transport operators and key decision-makers
• Manage vehicle stock, order books and sales forecasts
• Work closely with the Dealer Principal to develop sales strategies and growth initiatives
• Monitor e-Toyota usage, reporting, customer follow-up and overall sales discipline
• Ensure exceptional customer service and customer retention
• Recruit, train and develop sales staff where required
Minimum Requirements
• Proven experience in commercial truck, fleet or transport-related sales
• Previous sales management or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of the commercial transport industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyze performance and implement corrective actions when required
• Self-motivated, highly organized and target-driven
