Update time on the Corolla build! 🚗🔧

For those who have been following this project through the M&R Automotive Services workshop, we’ve hit a massive milestone. The transformation is getting very real!

Here is what we checked off the list to get her back on the road:

Freshly Painted Engine Bay: Stripped down, prepped, and laid down a flawless new coat. It looks absolutely pristine and ready for show.

Complete Motor Overhaul: The engine was completely redone from the ground up to ensure peak reliability and crisp performance.

Installation & First Start: The motor is officially bolted in, fully plumbed, wired up, and timed perfectly.

The absolute best part? We fired it up and it is purring like a kitten. 🐈💨 Hearing this engine come back to life on the first turn makes all the meticulous prep work totally worth it.

Check out our latest work-in-progress! This VW Polo TSI came into the shop needing a little TLC after taking some hits to the right-hand doors, as well as the front and rear bumpers.

Accidents happen, but that’s exactly what our team is here for! We are currently deep into the repair process—stripping down the damage, reshaping, and doing the meticulous prep work required to get this beauty back to factory condition.

RH Doors: Smoothing out the dents and ensuring perfect panel alignment.

Front Bumper: Repairing the scuffs and structural integrity.

Rear Bumper: Buffing out the damage for a flawless finish.

To the visitor of our workshop:

Congratulations on making it back for round two.

It takes a special kind of boldness to return to the exact same place was violated just months ago, knowing full well that you are taking things you didn't earn, from people who work hard every single day to build something real.

We know how the story goes from here. The paperwork will be filed, the evidence will be collected, and yet—through whatever cracks exist in the system—you will likely be walking free again tomorrow. You’ll head back out into the world, perhaps feeling untouchable, thinking you’ve beaten the system.

But let’s be entirely clear about one thing: walking free does not mean you are winning.

While you are busy looking over your shoulder, relying on the cover of darkness and the broken gears of justice to survive, we are moving forward. Every time you break a lock, we build a stronger one. Every time you take a tool, we replace it and keep creating. You might be able to steal the physical objects out of our shop, but you can’t steal the skill, the drive, or the sheer resilience it takes to run a business.

Enjoy your temporary freedom. Just remember that luck always runs out, but a legacy of hard work never does. We’re still here, we’re still working, and we aren't going anywhere.

Check out this incredible transformation on a Toyota Hilux GD6. This bakkie came to us with significant damage to the loadbin, requiring precision structural repair and expert paintwork.

The team at M&R Automotive Services got to work, stripping it down, pulling the panels back to factory lines, and ensuring a seamless finish. But we didn’t stop there!
