Toyota South Africa Motors would like to notify the public about fraudulent emails falsely referencing the Takata Airbag Recall. These communications, targeting Land Cruiser vehicle owners, are not issued by Toyota. We can also confirm that Land Cruiser models are not affected by the Takata recall.​

To verify whether any communication received is official, customers are encouraged to contact their nearest authorised Toyota dealer or the Toyota Customer Care Centre directly on 080 013 9111 or via email at [email protected].​
