Back in 1998, the TNT name was already known throughout the country for working with performance exhausts, branch manifolds and mufflers.

The branch manifolds were designed around gas flow, the flanges were laser cut for accurate fitment, and TNT was already manufacturing its own mufflers.

Fast forward 28 years and things have changed a bit.
Exhausts are still a big part of what we do, but there's a lot more going through the workshop these days.
Custom exhaust systems.
Mine and truck exhausts.
Generator exhausts.
Frames and bars.
Cattle rails.
Game viewing frames.
Roof racks.
Aluminium welding.
Brake skimming.
Custom fabrication.

From 1998 to 2026, the way we enhance vehicle performance improved but our love for a proper car and the sound of a modified exhaust is still the same

TNT Middelburg started back in 1998.

For a lot of us, cars were something we grew up with. They were the posters on the wall, the magazines we bought, the cars we talked about with our friends and the ones we dreamed about owning one day.

And then, sooner or later, we started working on them ourselves. Getting our hands dirty. Changing things. Taking things apart. Trying to understand how they worked.
We are lucky enough to still be doing that today, all day, every day.

Over the years, the cars have changed, the technology has changed, but our love for them hasn't. Hearing an engine start, listening to a good exhaust note or seeing a custom piece come together exactly the way it should.... it's why we do what we do.

So this October, we're going back to 1998, the year TNT started, and having a look at some of the cars, technology and stories from 28 years ago.
