Progress starting to happen on thee RD350 Hybrid project.
Front end rebuilt with RS250 Aprilia forks. New tripple clamp installed and working on the Brembo brakes.
Used the TZR 3MAMk1 frame and it has RS 250 wheels. The rear shock is from a CBRR1000RR 2006 model so the linkiage is all working correctly now but a few spacers to complete and secure a rolling chassis.
Rear brake caliper under reconstruction but from a TZR and all spacers align for now to bring the rear sprocket in line with the front sprocket.

It will have a Banshee motor with ported barrels and 35MM mikuni carbs and a special set of Pincus racing exhausts.
A pure two stroke track weapon when its done. Found a special ignition set up from Electrexworld in the Uk (thanks Neil) that makes all the power without a battery sso saving weight. Will be a long project but enjoying the engineering of a custom build

RD 350 Hybrid for anyone? These are very sought after machines but as anyone who has built one will tell you they are a significant investment in Time, Money, Frustration and almost Magician talents as you look for parts. This is my 2026 project. Get at least one of them finished.

Another rescue done. 1983 Gama 250 WG saved with new motor and now to run-in before doing more cosmetic work.

Some new projects. Honda SP2 is a great machine on track for its age. Going to have fun with this. The Suzuki 750 GSXR (slingshot) is having all the small things worked out after a full engine rebuild. This is a rock solid old school racer and a pleasure to ride fast.

Rearsets in with GP shift. ECU chip changed so ready for some track time.
