Its not completely done yet , there is "one million" small stuff that remains. I drove the red one today and the black e28 yesterday Oh yes , they are curious of the new garage ;)

Looking forward to park them there for the winter, adjust the temperature to a "cosy" setting and just sit there and look at them

These are our family stories from the back days

There is a few still around that is original. This is original Alpine. The gauge on this post is changed. This is original from back in the day.

I was lucky to have owned three of these cars over the years...including this one if I am not mistaken.

They were not offered directly from the dealer. They were an aftermarket option offered by tuning company called Alpine Turbo developments.

The conversion by todays standards is very outdated.

While they are Rare... they are not some 'limited edition' from Bmw. They were rare because of how many Alpine Developments built. It was an expensive upgrade back then so not many chose to do it.

As far as value goes... I wouldn't say they are worth any more than a stock 325is due to the obsolete method of turbocharging used.

I met a owner with one in late 90s when I was tuning my 200sx Nissan with stock turbo in tune serv pinetown , I think they were the old alpine developments in kzn , the days of dastek chips , a little bit of banter between j*p vs Germany and we went for a small race to test my car after the tune and we were neck and neck on take off but from 3rd gear he pulled away , couldn’t catch him , was some good fun thou
