You are not limited to RMI approved workshops only
A lot of people don’t realise this, so I thought I’d share something important 👇
You are not forced to repair your car at an RMI-approved workshop, especially when it comes to your warranty.
Thanks to the Right to Repair, vehicle owners in South Africa are allowed to service and repair their cars at independent workshops without automatically voiding their warranty, as long as the work is done properly and according to manufacturer standards.
And let’s be honest, most of our cars are no longer under warranty anyway. So there’s really no reason to feel restricted or overpay when you have good, trustworthy independent options available.
