OK. So people reading this please educate me on how wrong I am. Guy brings In a wheel . "It is leaking and going flat".

So we do what we do . Start looking for the cause. Eventually finding it. Leaking between rim and bead. So , take of Tyre, clean it and put it back , inflate and return to customer.
That was couple weeks ago , wheel is working daily. Accounts get sent out at month end.

Today this customer sends his foreman to inform me that he is not prepared to pay for this. It should be done FREE OF CHARGE.

Keep in mind , they do not support us . They buy from people 100km away. They do support the other shop in town for repairs who are notoriously slow , shoddy workmanship and expensive. They have no problem paying them for work done.

Please explain to me what am I missing here ? Should this work be done for free?
