The diesel backlog is almost all cleared now. By this afternoon we will be back up to date with the schedule.

UPDATE:

Good news from Astron is the fault has now been rectified. Diesel is available again. As soon as our trucks return from delivering ULP, we will start the catching up of the diesel orders from tonight. The negative impact on sites will be less now.

Hi Everyone.

I wanted to give you an update on the diesel situation as you would've heard by now there are problems with supply in Port Elizabeth.
The problem is at Astron, the supplier to ALL fuel companies sourcing from PE. We have been impacted since yesterday and no solution was found even today. As Engen, we have resorted to roadhauling from East London depot. The problem with that is the availability of trucks.

So all your diesel orders from yesterday and today are affected, and the orders for the next few days will be affected aswell. Every little bit we get from East London will go towards the backlog until we catch up all orders. I definately expect sites to go dry on diesel (some are dry already).

I will update you on this platform as and when I get relevant information.

We are splitting the orders so that you can receive your ULP atleast.

We would like to inform all our loyal customers that were awaiting a delivery of Diesel from Engen.

The delivery was scheduled for this morning.
Engen did deliver petrol only after a mix load was ordered. They affirmed that the diesel order is on its way. At this stage we dont know what time itll arrive.

Reason from Engen is the diesel shortage that’s currently the case in the whole of South-Africa.

Hopefully sooner rather than later this matter will be fully resolved.
