MULTI DISCIPLINARY SUCCESS REPORT

Stolen Vehicle Recovered | Glen Marais, Kempton Park

Moto-Track Recovery Services (MTRS) alongside Smart Security Services (SSS) is pleased to report the successful recovery of a stolen Toyota Fortuner 2.8 GD-6 VX following swift cooperation between multiple role players.

A call was received by the MTRS Elite Response Team from SSS (Smart Security Services) requesting assistance with a possible stolen vehicle in the Glen Marais area of Kempton Park. MTRS units were immediately dispatched to assist.

Upon arrival, the Toyota Fortuner was found abandoned on the side of the road. Further inspection confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen.

It appeared that the suspects had extensively stripped and damaged the vehicle’s interior in an attempt to locate and remove the tracking device. Despite causing significant damage to the interior, they were unsuccessful in locating the device. The suspects subsequently abandoned the vehicle.

Contact was established with the vehicle’s owner, who was informed of the recovery and circumstances surrounding the incident.

EMPD (Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department) was notified and arrived on scene shortly thereafter to assist with the necessary procedures and investigation.

Once the scene had been attended to, Dot Towing loaded the vehicle and transported it to the nearest secure vehicle storage yard for safekeeping and further investigation.
