Our sister company in Germany, Fuchs Europe Schmierstoffe Gmbh, is a multiple recipient of the Daimler Chrysler First Class Partner award for ‘Excellence in product quality, supply quality and innovation’ as well as a Volkswagen Group Award winner in 2014. We have 4,112 employees world-wide, and as lubricants is the sole focus of our business, it is not surprising that for every 10 employees, we have 1 chemist employed in research and development. In 2014 the group spent € 32.9 million on research and development. Locally, Fuchs Southern Africa is accredited for SABS for ISO 9001: 2008, issued in June 2012. The products in our various ranges carry approvals from a wide range of international automotive and industrial equipment manufacturers.
