AUTO BODY PREPPER / PAINTLESS DENT REMOVER VACANCY
Role Summary:
The PDR is required to perform Paint-less Dent Repair on vehicles.
Position Details:
Operate as a Paint-less Dent Remover
Know which dents necessitates Paint-less dent repair and which does not.
Understand how to properly manipulate dents back into place.
Remove damaged body parts, including bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles, and trim
Maintain the quality standards of the Company
Maintain the proper function, cleanliness, and organization of all tools, equipment, and work aids.
Performance Measures:
Maintain discipline & standardized process in work areas as outlined in OIS, WES & WBB procedures.
Ford Production System compliance
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to buy off repaired units on the QLS system( In house training provided
PDR Technician must know which diagnostic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other power equipment and tools are appropriate for certain procedures and repairs. They must know how to apply the correct techniques and methods necessary to repair modern automobiles.
Qualifications & Experience:
Matric with Mathematics and English.
Two – year related experience or training equivalent combinations of education and experience
