This F25 X3 came in for a coolant leak. We pressure tested the system cold, traced three leak sources — EGR cooler, water pump, and thermostat — then drained it for the repair. Customer approved, parts ordered, work begun.

BMW G01 X3 in today — someone fitted new suspension components without preloading the bushings before torquing.

The result? Twisted bushings from day one. Bad geometry. Premature wear.

The fix:
→ Control arm bolts loosened both sides
→ Stabilizer end links disconnected
→ Suspension preloaded to ride height
→ Everything torqued in sequence
→ Geometry sorted, bushings happy ✅
No preload = bushings that die early.
