Outbound Campers have been designed, developed and manufactured to the highest quality standards and are built to handle the harsh African environment and outdoor conditions. Care has been taken to provide a robust unit that is both manageable on the campsite and stable on the road. Model dependent, the Outbound boasts independent suspension with both coil springs and dual shocks supporting 15” wh
eels with aluminium alloy mags. Packing space is also a key element and has been carefully considered, thus offering substantially more packing space than other campers in the same class. On entry to the unit there are two drawers and two cupboards to the left with under bunk storage to the right. Rear toolboxes and a front nose cone offer additional storage space in conjunction with the roof rack, supplied as standard. A fridge drawer slide capable of taking a 90l fridge offers packing space both in the fridge as well as the two drawers mounted in front of the fridge slide. Furthermore, the Outbound has a slide-out stainless steel basin and stove with two drawers. The gas geyser is standard and the Outbound is fitted with a 100l stainless steel water tank with aluminium protection jacket and 12v pressure pump as standard. On the off-side of the unit you will find the shower housing. The large queen-sized bed has fantastic cross ventilated windows with mosquito netting and canvas flaps on the inside and awnings on the exterior. The sleeping cabin is fitted with a privacy curtain. The dinette area seats four and can be converted to a childrens bed. A 5Amp National Luna intelligent charger looks after the 100Amp hour battery feeding power to the fridge and lights as well as the 1000w inverter. LED mood lights are mounted in the dinette area and the sleeping cabin as well as above the stove, basin and fridge and a LED light at the step ensures a safe, visible step into the camper. Brad Harris plugs, cigar plugs and USB sockets are fitted in practical locations. The Campers canvas is of the highest quality; a 340gsm Polycotton ensures a cool, waterproof environment while being able to withstand sun degradation. A full side tent complete with aluminium poles and walls with well-ventilated windows and doors is also supplied as standard. The unit has provision upfront for two jerry cans and two gas cylinders, all protected by a heavy duty mesh stone deflector. Another great feature is the rear bumper which facilitates for a tow bar that makes provision for bike racks.
