How to install at turbo
1.All air hoses connected to the turbo must be totally clean and undamaged.
2.Air filter and housing must be totally clean and free from debris.
3.Check manifold for cracks and debris: replace if necessary.
4clean engine breather system and check function
5 remove old gasket material from the exhaust manifold and pipe faces must be undamaged.
6 fill oil inlet hole of the turbocharger with new engine oil and spin of the compressor wheel by hand a few times.(note) it is normal to feel some up and down movement ion on the wheel .
7fit turbocharger onto manifold or engine block using the correct using the correct new gasket or joint ring,then connect the exhaust pipe .tighten all nuts/bolts.
8oil feed and drain lines must be totally clean and undamaged -oil flow MUST be restricted.check that any flexible hose liners have not collapsed internally. Oil level OK,but drain line damage- causes oil leaks from turbo.
9 fit oil drain line. Refill oil in let hole with new clean engine oil and reconnect the oil feed line.
10 fill air hose tighten.
11 use new air,oil and fuel filters, refill engine with new engine oil.
12/
start the engine and idle for 3 to 4 minutes before increasing speed .check for oil and gass/air leaks .
13/ stop engine and recheck engine oil level(NOTE: oil level should NOT be above the point where oil returns from the turbo to the engine.
