What is the EPC light on my Volkswagen / Audi?
Your Volkswagen has many dashboard symbols that can become illuminated when the system senses an issue, such as a fuel indicator turning on when it’s time to get more gas or a battery indicator turning on when there seems to be low alternator voltage or a charging system failure. For example, if the EPC Light is illuminated due to traction control problems, the traction light will be on as well.
