Hybrid billet turbo upgrade on the Nissan Navara 3.0 V6, including:
1️⃣ Billet compressor wheel upgrade
The last image shows a machined billet compressor wheel.
Billet wheels are stronger and lighter than cast wheels.
Benefits:
Faster spool
Higher airflow
Better efficiency at higher boost.
2️⃣ New VNT / VGT mechanism
The middle photo shows the old variable nozzle turbine (VNT) ring, which is clearly carboned up and worn.
We replaced it with a new VNT assembly, which is the clean silver unit below it.
This is important because worn VNT vanes cause:
slow spool
boost spikes
limp mode
poor fuel economy.
3️⃣ Full CHRA replacement/ upgrade
The first photo shows the rebuilt core assembly going back into the turbine housing.
