Had to response to a Breakdown Call-out in Midrand… Lerato was stuck with her 2016 VW POLO 1.2 TSI with overheating issues. The Water Pump was qouted on the previous service and it eventually failed…

We replaced the Water Pump with Thermosst Housing, Tooth Belt and Coolant and vehicle was back on the road. Happy Customer 😊

‘Niresha’ brought her very clean AUDI A1 1.4 TFSI S-Tronic for Annual Service… A number of problems were picked of which some were complained about.

✅ Inspection Service was done :
- 5W40 Engine Oil
- Oil / Air / Pollen / Fuel filters
- Spark plugs
- Sump plug
- Service Light reset
✅ Stabilser bar links replaced (worn out)
✅ Diagnostics carried out

⚠️ Vehicle was found to have a strong curent draw (tracking device suspected)
⚠️Rear shocks were found to be leaking (worn out)
⚠️ Water Pump found to be leaking ! (Continuous loss of Coolant)
⚠️ Breather Valve found leaking (common CAX problem)
⚠️ Brake Fluid flush overdue

Vehicle was booked again for above issues to be fixed.

‘Buhle’ trusted us with her 2021 AUDI A1, from hearing only good things about LUJ Automobile Mechanics. Vehicle was due for an Inspection Service which we done a few weeks ago on a Call-Out.

This time around It came in for Additional repairs which were picked up during time of service. As a first time customer she was more than happy to drive all the way from Pretoria East for our quality service.

The following was done :

☑️ Full Inspection Service
☑️ Front Wheel Bearings replaced
☑️ Front Brake pads replaced
☑️ Rear Brake pads replaced

⚠️ 1x Bukkled rim advised to be fixed (pothole damage)

A very well looked after 2007 POLO 9N came in for intermittent power steering malfunction and Parking brake warning light flashing while driving… Vehicle has been serviced by an unknown mechanic.

We carried out basic diagnostics and found a fuse to be blown.

✅ Fuse was replaced
✅ All earth points around engine bay cleaned and fastened
✅ All Faults cleared

⚠️ Upon doing basic inspection we found the clutch to be worn out and Valve timing out of spec, Vehicle was rebooked for additional repairs to be done.

The following were replaced :

✅ 5W30 LM Engine Oil
✅ Oil Filter
✅ Sump plug washer
✅ Air Filter
✅ Brake pad set, Rear
✅ Brake Wear Sensor
⚠️ Rear Brake Discs to be replaced soon
