Jaguar XF BCM Repair. These normally get corrupted once the battery is removed from Jaguar and athe car fails to recognize the keys. The shutdown sequence for the BCM is interrupted by the battery removal resulting in the unit's data being corrupt.

Sometimes it's just the BCM but in work cases the RFA /KVM is also affected in which case new keys will be required.

Ford Ecosport 2.0 Diesel Automatic, came in with a no crank no start situation from another mechanic. One of those cars that have gone from mechanic to workshop to mechanic without solution. We get a lot of them here. Had to go through the wiring, change the bcm, engine fuse box, change the preheating relay for the heater plugs, service the injectors, change the computer box, eventhough it came with two, had to get a third. She even had transmission problems, had to drop and refit the gearbox and transfer case. New oil...

This was arguably one of our most challenging repairs but she's back on the road running like a dream. Even bought her a new battery.
