Laron called in a few weeks ago, he mentioned that he had just purchased a JETOUR x70plus and wants to do an audio upgrade.
He mentioned that the original system is really poor, volume is capped , no midbass even if you ajust the headunit, the entire system is just flat.

We had a sit down and discussed the options available.
He opted for the OEM+ combo as it was within his budget.
OEM+ is a HIGH END range of equipment designed and engineered by STARSOUND 🔊

The OEM+ speakers is a bolt on speaker kit, available for most of the new chinese vehicles.
The speakers plugs into the oem vehicle wiring.

The amplifier harness is also part of the OEM+ kit making this installation easy peazy 🤣 if you know what you are doing .

Once the installation was done it was time to tune the system.
The oem + dsp is very responsive and user friendly.
The app works like a bomp, we fine tuned the system with Larons playlist.

This SS dsp has a built in amplifier that powers these speakers with ease.

The speakers sounds crystal clear after tuning, the sound deadening and the speaker rings / dampers made a huge difference to the sound quality.

The bass was a bit too much at first so we had to level things out a bit as the SS M1000.1 amplifier delivers serious power to the ss spec 10inch woofer.

Overall the system is loud, clear and the best part is that it bangs.

VEHICLE WARANTY INTACT - NO DAMAGE TO THE OEM WIRING OR THE VEHICLE ITSELF.

Another World Record for XZIBIT AUDIO at Gas Motorshow 2026
This was 1 for the books, the owner Seyuran Moodley started his car audio journey as a rookie.
He played in multiple clases and formats.
He walked into Xzibit Audio a few years ago and bought a sub and a box, this was the start to his dream.

He had a dream and a passion to 1 day build a bass boxing vehicle.
He put in the work , the finances and alot of time.
This car was initially built for a no wall spl class but changed as his love for boxing took over.

He was mocked by other formats, a small boy trying to play with the big boys they said 😲
This didnt alter his goal it just made the goal more reachable.
We as a team started this boxing build in 2025.
We didnt change the plan we just altered the final outcome.

Whenever we faced an obstacle we worked around it and found the solutions.

He was adamant to play in the IASCA WELTERWEIGHT CLASS even though there were bigger cars in the class.

He raked up his iasca points show after show.
Worked on his car day after day.
He was focused on becoming a WORLD RECORD HOLDER ON THE IASCA FORMAT.

This passed weekend his DREAM TURNED INTO REALITY.

2026 Gas Motorshow

We decided to take a few cars down for the Gas Motorshow 2026.
Team X representing GP & SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦
We qualified for the following classes
- Heavyweight bassboxing - Vw Caddy
- Welterweight bassboxing - Corsa B
- lightweight 2 bassboxing - Corsa Gama
- Street spl - Hyundai hatch

All 4 of our cars placed in the TOP 2

GHOSTRIDER was the UNDERDOG in its class,
8x 15s MINI VS 18x 15s MAXI
But we put in the work, night after night and we had FAITH to believe that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.🙏

Our new windscreen didn't make in time for GAS so we used a windscreen from our other caddy.
It was a last minute rush , Vishaan Majlis my homeboy ensured that GR windscreen was tinted as soon as we landed at Suncoast / Gas.
We left it to dry on the Friday till qualifying on Saturday.
We knew we had an uphill climb to achieve as the WORLD RECORD was set by "THE RIDDLER"

A few days before leaving for THE GAS MOTORSHOW i printed 2 stickers.
1 was for GHOSTRIDER and the other was for TOTAL CHAOS.
I knew I will stick them on the bonnet after our 3 runs. ( I walk by faith & not by sight )

Check out my 3 RUNS - We beat the old record and set a new WORLD RECORD 🏆with a SHATTERED WINDSCREEN.
I hit a BASS RACE move at the end of my LAST RUN IN ORDER TO MEET THE REQUIRED SCORE🤣
