Some people are born knowing exactly what they were meant to do.

For Stanley Wilkinson, that calling has always been the motor industry.

At only a young age, while many were still finding their direction, Stanley was already making his mark — earning recognition as an RMI Mechanic of the Year Regional Finalist in 2002 and achieving 1st Place in the Western Cape regional competition. That passion, dedication, and natural ability were evident from the very beginning.

But what makes his journey truly special is not only the achievements and certificates on the wall — it’s the consistency, hard work, and integrity he has carried through every single year since.

Today, as the owner of SHW Automotive, Stanley continues to lead with the same passion he had back then. From solving complex faults to mentoring a small team that has become more like family, he has built more than just a workshop — he has built a name people trust.

Behind every repaired vehicle, every late night, every challenge overcome, and every satisfied customer is a man who genuinely cares about his craft and the people around him.
