Close encounter with a heard of Buffalo.

Super exiting club ride yesterday. Found 2 waterbuck having a dual at the entrance of the game reserve, then a close up view of not less than 6 highly guarded animals. As we made our way through, we got even more than what anyone could bargain for, a whole heard of Buffalo crossing the road slowly. We were forced to stop and check then making their way over the road a mere 40 odd meters away. Not having the safety of an enclosed vehicle quickly dawned on us. Majestic animals and we are very fortunate that they love BMW's. We had a couple of stare downs and fast heart rates were the order of the day. This was one to remember. We will not post location or photos of the endangered species on social media, for obvious reasons. Have a look at these super photos and videos though captured by Mercia Wolfaard on the back of the 1250 Adventure....we ended the day with a break and some food in Jongensfontein
