GWM South Africa has expanded the P300 range with the new P300 2.0T Pioneer Hi4-T PHEV, combining bakkie capability with plug-in hybrid technology.

The P300 PHEV delivers an impressive 310 kW and 750 Nm from its 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and electric motor, with a 33.1 kWh battery providing up to 115 km of pure electric driving range. It also offers true 4WD capability, 3,500 kg towing capacity and V2L functionality for powering equipment and appliances.

Inside, it features a 15.6-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, heated and ventilated leather seats and a range of advanced safety and driver-assistance features.

Priced at R914,900, the P300 PHEV comes with a 7-year/200,000 km vehicle warranty, 8-year/150,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, 7-year/75,000 km service plan and 7-year unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance.
