Stylish Saturday! Some rather stylish fabrication work on the Sera in the form of a set of sexy brackets and a bigger cap with etched logo on the charge cooler reservoir. Watch this space, we'll be getting into the the Sera project assembly now that 90% of the fab work is done.

When we finished the upgrades on the 1948 Ford, the engine bay looked great except for the ugly plastic watter overflow and washer bottle that the builder of the car had used. No problem, our legendary fabricator designed and built two beautiful aluminum bottles to replace them. And to finish off the look we also changed the brake fluid reservoir to match and added a battery cover. We elected to go with a satin black finish to match the colour's we had used in the engine bay. See what you think. The first pic is the engine bay before with the plastic bottles and the rest of the pics are how it looks now with the ali fabricated parts.

A short while ago we were asked to kit this Hilux out with a specific list of upgrades. So the team got right on it and before we knew it the truck had:
- 18" Aline Tremor wheels
- Maxxis all terrain tyres
- Bilstein lift kit
- Stainless steel performance exhaust system
- Electronic load bin roller cover
- GR Sport steering wheel
- 11" Alpine head unit
- Full Rockford Fosgate audio system with 10" sub
Subtle but cool, or at least we think so (and so does the client).

The Rockford Fosgate audio install we did in this C55 is much like it's performance. Hits hard, but still silky smooth! ...

The Rockford Fosgate audio install we did in this C55 is much like it's performance. Hits hard, but still silky smooth! The single 12" Punch subwoofer delivers powerful bass, whilst the splits up front take care of the high notes. Sometimes it's best to keep it simple.

Check out our AI rendering of how the Toyota Sera engine bay will look once we put the purple accent colour on the valve cover and intake manifold. It's going to look extra cool with the purple VARI Racing brake calipers.
A lot more has to go into the engine bay, this is just to give us an idea of whether or not the purple works. We think it definitely does. What do you think?
