GENERAL MANAGER – FILLING STATION & TRUCK STOP

Truckers Diesel - Argent Petrol Station

We are seeking an experienced and qualified General Manager to oversee the complete operations of our filling station and truck stop facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the filling station, including fuel dispensing, convenience store operations, and general maintenance
- Manage and supervise all staff members, including recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Manage inventory control, stock levels, and procurement of fuel and convenience store products
- Handle financial management, and sales reporting
- Ensure exceptional customer service delivery for both diesel truck customers and petrol vehicle customers
- Monitor and implement security procedures and loss prevention strategies
- Develop and implement strategies for business growth and operational efficiency

Minimum Requirements

Education (Mandatory - Non-negotiable):

- Diploma in Accounting or Information Management; OR
- B-Com Degree; OR
- Matric Certificate with a minimum of 65% in Accounting AND 65% in Mathematics

Applicants who do not meet the above educational criteria will not be considered.

Additional Skills and Competencies

- Strong supervisory skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office, POS systems)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
