Impilo 4x4 Driver Training conducted 4x4 driver training yesterday at
Gwahumbe Game & Spa

It was a perfect day after a week of continious rain.
The track was eroded in certain areas with a bit of water saturation along the low lying areas.

Based on the Clients needs, our courses are intimate, designed with a comfortable environment, whilst providing an education for all attend.

The theory session ensures drivers get to grips with understanding the purpose of the various mechanical components.
The practical session allows the driver to put the theory into action as the driver demonstrates the function of the bells and the whistles the vehicle has to offer.

Overall the driver has an opportunity to understand the vehicles off road limitations and improve their driving abilities whilst preserving our fragile environment by driving responsibly.
We adhere to the strict guidelines whilst educating drivers on our
beautiful surrounding flora and fauna.

November 2022 is the 20th anniversary of Impilo 4x4 Driver Training.
From the inception of Impilo 4x4, my wife and I had no idea of the life changing move we were embarking on.

The journey, though started many years before along the dusty, gravel roads of the Transkei, where as a herdboy, I marvelled at the beauty of the many 4x4 vehicles which rumbled through our village of Mtalala as the occupants made their way to their next holiday seaside destination.

Through the eyes of a youngster, the vehicles always looked cool with boats, caravans and trailers in tow, the people always seemed happy,
deep down, I yearned for a taste of that lifestyle.
Little did I know that yearning was the seed which would later germinate into the gentle baobab which Impilo is evolving to be.

I thank my family for understanding the crazy idea, my wife for the support and encouragement along the dark days.
We thank our Clients who entrusted us with their driver training needs and for making us part of their family.

Another splendid day at Dezzi Raceway.

Impilo 4x4 Driver Training conducted defensive advance driver training for
a corporate client.

The Client enjoyed the theoretical presentation and the practical demonstration.
An awesome team building experience, the lessons are designed to equip the driver to deal with most on road scenario's and eventualities.

To top the day, we had our training facilitators(Michael Lee Jackson and Jazmin Stapelfeldt) join us on the track.
