🚗 GEARBOX ACTING UP? DON’T GUESS—DIAGNOSE IT FIRST!

Jerking, slipping, shuddering, delayed gear selection or a gearbox warning light does not always mean your complete automatic transmission has failed.

The problem could be:

✅ A faulty sensor or solenoid
✅ Damaged wiring or an electrical connection
✅ Low or contaminated transmission fluid
✅ An oil leak or pressure problem
✅ A torque-converter fault
✅ A DSG clutch or mechatronic issue
✅ Even an engine, battery or charging-system fault

That is why Rex Diff and Gearbox Durban offers a FREE initial diagnostic and test-drive assessment before issuing a repair price.

Diagnose first. Price it correctly. Repair only what is necessary.

🌸🚗 SPRING READY? MAKE SURE YOUR VEHICLE IS TOO. 🚗🌸

Winter is almost behind us, and as Durban heads into warmer weather, now is the perfect time to give your vehicle a proper health check.

Heat, humidity, spring rain and increased driving all place extra strain on your vehicle — especially the cooling system, battery, brakes, tyres, automatic gearbox and driveline components.

At Rex Diff and Gearbox Durban, we specialise in helping motorists identify small problems before they become expensive failures.

Our specialist services include:

✅ Automatic Gearbox Repairs
✅ Manual Gearbox Repairs
✅ DSG Gearbox Repairs for VW, Audi & Porsche
✅ Differential Repairs
✅ Clutch Repairs
✅ Transfer Case & 4x4 System Repairs
✅ Propshaft & Driveline Repairs
✅ Diagnostics, Servicing & Maintenance

And as we head into the warmer months, don’t forget your automatic transmission cooling system.

Transmission oil coolers and heat exchangers can fail, become restricted or leak, which can cause the gearbox to overheat and lead to serious internal damage. A proper gearbox service should include an inspection of the transmission cooling system — not just an oil change.

🏆 Why choose Rex Diff and Gearbox Durban?

⭐ RMI 5-Star Graded Workshop
⭐ AA Approved Workshop
⭐ SABS Accredited for Gearbox & Differential Repairs
⭐ ISO 9001 Compliant
⭐ Right to Repair Supporter
⭐ Approved Repairer for Leading Warranty & Insurance Companies

Whether your vehicle has a gearbox warning light, oil leak, vibration, hard gear change, humming differential or simply feels different after winter, don’t ignore it.

Prevention is always cheaper than a major repair.
