GWM Steed - Audio system upgrade 💥🔥🔊🔊

We supplied and installed a Kicker component kit along with a single 10 inch sub behind the passenger seat. We utilized the Vibe Audio Powerbox 80.4 amplifier to power up the system. We had all the plastic silver trim resprayed.

The Vibe amplifier was housed in a custom mount alongside the subwoofer enclosure.

This combination of various brands created an awesome sounding beast. The Hertz subwoofer in the custom downfiring was driven perfectly by the Awave 500.1 monoblock - keeping the entire load area free with maximum usage of the cargo area. This system sounded amazing and very well balanced.

Jetour is making a serious mark in South Africa’s car market, with April 2026 sales showing the Chinese brand sold more vehicles than BMW and Mercedes-Benz combined.

The brand, which only launched locally in September 2024, moved 1,804 units in April and also outsold Nissan, Honda and Mazda.

Its rise is another sign that Chinese brands are no longer fringe players in South Africa — they are becoming major competitors in the mainstream market.
