We've had this one also just laying about for a couple years now and we're ready to part with it.

RS1600 Mk1 Es**rt perana replica.

The car started life as a 69 mk1 es**rt, we've added the 6 dial dash to it, the 70s doors, and all the other RS1600 welding and brackets to it, front fenders, factory reinforcements etc.

The car has paperwork and is licensed up to date.

You will not buy a better shell for the money, least of all one with all the period correct RS1600 bits done to it.

Absolutely zero rust anywhere on the car. Immaculate body structure, floors, chassis legs etc.

Plan was the stick a bda in, but we've not got round to doing that in all this time.

Regrettably does not come with the steering in the photo.

The brackets, fenders, etc on this are Bout 3/4 the asking price to import to SA let alone fit correctly.

Engine will need to be rebuilt(was seized, rings pulled off to get it turning)
Wiring will need to be done
Interior will need doing.
Suspension will need going through
Will require other general things that a resto will require. Ideal for someone who knows what they're doing. This will sit for years if you are a novice around these cars and looking to get into an RS thats worth alot for cheap, so please keep that in mind. YOU ARE NOT GETTING A RESTORED RS2000 for R160 000 or @9.2k

1980 Ford Es**rt RS2000 for sale.

History:
This is a genuine, 1 family owned RS2000 that has never been restored prior to us painting it.

Body:
Stripped to metal, epoxy and coast coated
Only welding that needed doing was 1x lower rear quarter spare wheel well outer that had some accumulated pin holes in it.

Car is pristine, undercarriage is painted gloss white, no stone guard.
Cabin has been sealed and the body has been prepped and painted the original diamond white.

Drive train:
Factory original matching engine has been fully rebuilt
Original matching gearbox has been serviced
Original diff has also been serviced
All gaskets, seals and consumables have been changed.

Suspension:

Original RS 2000 thick strut, thick sway bar suspension in place and fully refurbished.
Complete car has been poly bushed
Shocks changed
New braking system front to rear including new lines, shoes, pads, refurbished calipers, new cylinders, master and booster.

Interior:
Complete interior has been redone except the headliner which is original from 1980.

All the window rubbers are still the original ones from the factory and have not been changed

Overall:
All the special RS only bits are still in place, Alluminium sump, rs cam, Alluminium mounts and alternator bracket, radiator, water pipes, suspension, gearbox and RS diff.

Car drives beautifully even at this ride height.

Paperwork up to date, strut top numbers match, tags have never been removed off of the vehicle and are still original.

Easily one of the nicest RS2000s that will come up for sale.

Really honest body with nothing to hide
Undercarriage is clean
Engine bay is solid
License has been paid, new enatis has been applied for. Tags and strut tops all match numbers.(21 days or less for the new enatis to arrive from date of post)
Brand new wheels and tyre's fitted
Car is lowered
Rear has been semi tubbed for 8j wheels
You'd battle to replace a shell that is able to be restored quite quickly for the same money.
