🏅 Grand Stand - Ranger TREMOR
🇳🇦Story Time🇳🇦
From the historic waterfalls of Ruacana, we set off towards and through Van Zyl's Pass in Namibia's Kaokoland—an extremely rugged and dangerous 4x4 trail, widely regarded as one of the toughest in the world. With sheer drop-offs, massive boulders, and steep gradients, every kilometre demanded respect and concentration.
As darkness fell beneath the vast Namibian night sky, we pushed on through the Epupa region. The conditions were very hot: scorching temperatures and a landscape so dramatic it felt as though we were driving across the surface of Mars.
Yet throughout this incredible journey, the Ranger Tremor treated our team to outstanding comfort and a remarkably smooth ride over roads that were anything but smooth. Its factory-fitted Bilstein shocks absorbed the harsh terrain with ease, while the vehicle's all-wheel-drive capability inspired confidence, making even inexperienced off-road drivers feel in control.
It was only when we entered the Purros Conservancy and stopped for a short break in a canyon—fresh lion tracks pressed into the riverbed beside us—that we truly had a moment to reflect on the extraordinary landscapes and experiences we had shared as a team.
Thanks to the Ranger Tremor, we were able to explore some of Namibia's most remote and challenging terrain in comfort and confidence. This is exactly what it was built to do.
