Nine words. Every one of them is a spec check.

"Trailers at R280 a day. In good condition. Lights all work and efficient staff. What more could you ask for..." — Andrew Mitchell

Not much, honestly. Card payments, no deposit, Sunday collection, three branches. That's the operation.

Two cubes. R1350 a day. Delivered.

That's the full spec of the mini skip. Small enough for a Kenilworth driveway, big enough for a full bathroom rip-out. Or a garage clear-out. Or three weekends of pruning.

Garden foliage, rubble, household refuse, recycling — all accepted. Per cycle (1–3 days) or monthly if the project keeps growing. Package rates for construction projects. Contractor accounts on application.

Ask Johan — he handles skip enquiries and knows every driveway width in the Southern Suburbs.

Galvanised mesh trailer. Same size and load as the standard mesh, but the frame won't rust in a Cape Town winter — worth it if you tow often, run a small business fleet, or leave a trailer standing outside between hires.

500kg load. Standard Code B licence covers it. Same-day return, or 09:00 next morning by arrangement.

R280 a day. No deposit. Card payments. Sunday collection open.

Available from all three branches.

Short answer: yes.

If you and the neighbour both have less than a full skip's worth of stuff, split one. R1350 a day between two households is R675 each — cheaper than the second dump run neither of you wanted to do.

Positioned in one of the two driveways, garden foliage from both gardens, rubble from both projects, done Monday. Household refuse, garden waste, rubble, recycling — all fine.

Skip enquiries — Johan handles bookings and knows every driveway in the area.

Saturday morning. The Pinterest board said one weekend. The actual project says three weekends and a dump run.

Book the trailer by Friday so you're not adding "borrow one from the neighbour" to the list of things to do.

Mesh trailer R280 a day for the dump runs. Barred-sided if there's a lot of loose stuff. Double axle if you took on more than you should have. No deposit. Standard licence.

Sunday collection open for the projects that overrun into Monday morning.

Something we should've said sooner: half our weekend trailer hires are event and wedding setups.

Tables, chairs, décor, ceremony furniture, glassware crates — trailer's on the road by Friday afternoon, back Sunday morning after the pack-down.

Mesh for lighter décor. Barred-sided for full setups. Double axle if it's a big one. R280 to R600 a day. No deposit. Card payments. Same-day return or 09:00 next morning by arrangement.

Southern Suburbs wedding planners, venue managers, event companies — chat to us before your next brief. We'll hold a trailer on standby if the timing's tight.

If you're a contractor and you've never hired from us, this is for you.

Materials trailer for site drop-offs. Double axle for bigger jobs. No deposit on any of them — we know cashflow matters when you're waiting on a client. Card payments at all three branches.

Diep River, Tokai, Kenilworth — pick the yard closest to your site.

R280 for the mesh (500kg), R600 for the 2000kg double axle. Same-day return, or 09:00 next morning if the job runs long. No surcharge on Saturdays.

How many years have we been in Tokai? Long enough to know the school-run crowd hires trailers on a Thursday afternoon, the landscapers pick up first thing Monday, and half of Constantia comes through when the w**e estates change over furniture.

If Tokai’s your side of the mountain, we’re the trailer branch that’s already on your route. Come say hi if you haven’t been in for a while.

First time towing?

It’s easier than people think — but a few small things make the difference between a smooth trip and a stressful one.

The biggest one: how you pack it.

Heavy stuff goes low and over the axle. Not at the back, not stacked high. A badly loaded trailer will sway the second you hit 80 on the M3, and no amount of careful driving fixes that.

Straps over rope, every time. And take corners wider than you think you need to — the trailer follows a tighter line than the car.

If it’s your first time collecting from us, just say so. We’ll walk you through the hitch, the safety chain, the lights, and where to strap down. Two minutes at the yard saves a lot of second-guessing on the road.
