Need more power from your TD42?
We have done quite a bit more development and installed an inline fuel pump on several vehicles and did a pump and turbo upgrade on this one.
Boost pressure & fuel delivery was untouched and the results speak for themselves!

165kw & 605Nm is no shame for this old guy running an 11mm pump & TD05 18G

The Dyno Run!!

A first for the TD42 engine in SA
Thanks to Vanderlinde for doing some head work and changing some things on the camshaft and doing some balancing on the rotating parts, we managed to set a new benchmark for the old school engine on Attie Diedericks Patrol
Only running at 1.6 bar we could not get a proper reading on 2,000rpm as the torque was too much for the dyno and we lost traction on every attempt.
197,3kw on the wheels is really impressive!

Doing some "out of the box" testing on the TD42.
We installed a inline fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator to supply the 12mm fuel pump with a constant 0,5bar positive fuel supply, and the results speak for themselves. Boost pressure running at 1,7bar

Another interesting story......

One client has a GQ Patrol with built in TB48 engine and standard ECU. He had endless problems with vehicle going into limp mode and a little bit of under performance.

We removed tje standard ECU and fitted a Spitronics ECU and wow!!!!

Well the development keeps on going forward and over the last couple of months we have been installing oil coolers to keep those engine temps down.
Results so far is really positive!!
