Sometimes we have "let's see what happnes" moments. This was a custom 16mm vectran core with a custom cover of twaron and vectran from Southern Ropes Woodstock . This was a sample piece of the main halyard we spliced for a 80 foot Catamaran. The customer wanted a halyard with very low stretch and very chafe resistant.

We replaced the standing rigging as well as serviced the mast on this Dragonfly D800. We have a second Dragonfly D800 mast on the stands for complete standing rigging replacement and service.

We should have that one up and running next week. Standby for updates and videos.

We replaced all the standing rigging on this vessel of Ross Holland a few months ago. It took a bit of planning and patience to finally get the boat of for a sail and final tune. Thanks to Ross for trusting us to do the work on his vessel.

We had a lovely sail down the Berg River and in the bay at Veldrift.

Something different...lowering the mast on a dragonfly D800 for service and rigging replacement.

We always try remind owners of sailboats how important mast inspections are. If you boat has been sitting in a marina most of its life,does not mean it is not subject to stresses and fatigue of rigging fittings. Have your mast inspected and have the standing rigging replaced in line with recommended replacement periods.

We have been assisting a customer of ours with over the last few moths while he is doing an extensive refit of his lovely Cape Morgan 31. We replaced all the standing rigging and he now recently purchased two new Profurl roller furlers which we built and installed for him. Standby for more when we go and do a sea trial.
