History of the Rolls Royce Silver Spirt

Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit is a full-size luxury car produced by Rolls-Royce Motors, from 1980 to 1997.

It was the first model in the SZ series, It was the first car to feature a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy: the spring-loaded mascot sank into the radiator shell if dislodged from its position.

The Spirit continued the Silver Shadow's emphasis on ride quality by utilizing its hydropneumatics self-levelling suspension, modified with Girling automatic hydraulic ride height control system and gas-charged shock absorbers.

Between 1980–1989 only 8126 vehicles of this specification were manufactured.

The prestigious vehicle has been well maintained by its previous owner for the past 15 years, with service history from a reputable British Service Specialist in Woodstock, Cape Town. Vehicle drives extremely smooth, has a full set of new tyres, new battery and recent service completed, Aircon blows ice cold and for a vehicle of this age, it has full bells and whistles, as to many features to mention.
