AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC - FULL TIME POSITION

We are currently seeking a petrol/diesel mechanic for our automotive workshop based in Okavango Park. This is a full time position Monday-Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm with a 3 month probation. The position is available immediately.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed apprenticeship and trade test certification
Attention to detail
Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
Good physical health
Effective communication skills
Maintain good customer relations and customer service
Punctual and reliable
Preferably has his own tools but we can also make an arrangement once employed

Duties:
The ability to follow job cards and maintain work processes.
Running and analyzing diagnostic tests on vehicles.
Performing preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on all makes of vehicles.
Engine rebuilding.
Analyzing and correcting failed roadworthy reports in order to retest.
Maintaining a parts inventory.
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.
Ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop.
Conducting and adhering to pre-delivery inspection guidelines.
Collecting/ delivering of parts when the company driver is not available.
Overtime is occasionally required.

DRIVER - FULL TIME POSITION

We are currently seeking a company driver for our automotive workshop based in Okavango Park Brackenfell. This is a full time position Monday-Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm with a 3 month probation. The position is available immediately.

Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license and PDP
- Knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas
- Clean driving record with a few years experience
- Good physical health
- Effective communication skills
- Maintain good customer relations and customer service
- Interest in the Motor Industry
- Punctual and reliable

Duties:
- Sourcing and collecting parts from suppliers.
- Loading and delivering parts and engines to other workshops.
- Dropping clients off once their vehicles are booked in.
- Maintaining the company vehicles - keeping them clean and filling up with fuel when needed and advising the office of any mechanical issues or damages.
- Other workshop duties may be required such as washing vehicles and assisting the mechanics to keep the workshop clean and presentable.
- Ensuring all vehicle keys are stored securely at all times.
- Overtime is occasionally required.
- Able and willing to use Uber when required.
